Blanc de Noirs
Intermediate Wine Styles & Typesblahn duh NWAHR
Définition
White wine made from red-skinned grapes.
En Détail
In Champagne, Blanc de Noirs uses Pinot Noir and/or Pinot Meunier. Since color is in grape skins (not juice), gentle pressing extracts clear juice. These Champagnes tend to be richer, fruitier, and more full-bodied than Blanc de Blancs. The faintest copper tinge may be visible. Also produced as still wine in various regions.
